Psychiatrist-led ADHD assessments exclusively for women. Expert understanding, compassionate care, and a clear path forward — in as little as two weeks.
ADHD in women is frequently overlooked, misdiagnosed as anxiety or depression, or simply dismissed. At Align Women's Health, our psychiatrists have dedicated their practice to understanding how ADHD truly presents in women — and getting it right.
Our team takes the time to hear your full experience — without judgement, without assumptions.
Validated diagnostic tools and structured clinical interviews — the same methods used in leading ADHD research.
Diagnosis is only the beginning. We create a practical, personalised plan to bring your life back into alignment.
For too long, women with ADHD have been told they're "just anxious" or need to "try harder." The reality is that ADHD presents differently in women — often more internalised, more masked, and more easily missed. We built Align Women's Health to change that.
"I always thought I was just disorganised. Turns out my brain just works differently — and now I have the tools to work with it."
— Align Patient, MelbourneMany women don't realise that these everyday struggles could be connected — and that expert support is available.
Our two-session process is designed to be thorough without being overwhelming. Every step is structured to help you get back into alignment.
Complete our detailed online questionnaire about your symptoms, history, and daily challenges. We also send surveys to your partner and family to build a full 360-degree picture of your experience.
Visit your GP for blood work, a physical examination, and an ECG. You'll also need a 291 referral for the psychiatrist — we'll guide you through exactly what to ask for.
A comprehensive session with our specialist nurse, who reviews your full patient history and all survey responses in detail, ensuring nothing is overlooked.
Your psychiatrist conducts a thorough clinical interview using validated diagnostic tools. You leave with a clear diagnosis and a personalised treatment plan.
Regular follow-up appointments to fine-tune your treatment, monitor progress, and ensure you're getting the full benefit of your plan over time.
